Bred for disease and mildew resistance, Red Rooster's® brilliant red flowers make this mid-sized crapemyrtle an ideal choice for any garden. It is the perfect plant to use as a specimen or in a grouping.
· Dig a planting hole twice as large as the root ball.
· Remove plant from container and place in planting hole.
· Level top of root ball with the ground.
· Backfill.
· Water.
· Mulch.
· Keep moist until established.

Heavy pruning is not necessary. Deadheading will encourage reblooming into fall. If you need to prune to maintain shape, it is best to prune after the plant is in dormacy, usually late winter or early spring.
